Cohort-Based Learning Groups
The Jewish Learning Fellowship (JLF) is a 10-week experiential, conversational seminar for students looking to deepen their understanding of themselves and their connection to Judaism. Students who complete the course will earn a $250 stipend.
Hillel makes no claims about the “right” way to be Jewish. Our aim is to help students meet a group of friends, and explore what Jewish tradition has to say about contemporary issues. The next cohort of JLF will be in Spring 2025. |
Kol Yisrael (KY) is a 6-week cohort learning program for students to explore big ideas and big questions with Israel. Employing Hillel’s Inquiry-Centered Model for Israel Education, students explore diverse perspectives and views from the Israeli landscape. Students who complete the course will earn a $175 stipend. Kol Yisrael will meet in Spring 2025.

The emphasis of SFTM is breaking down barriers to Shabbat access, culminating with an on-campus Shabbat dinner experience designed and led by the cohort. This 4-session cohort will take place in Fall 2024. |
