Pre and Post Higher Holiday Rosh HaShanah Gatherings
Join together at 5:30 pm on Friday, September 18 over Zoom to bring in the holiday with candle lighting, Kiddush, Hamotzi, and apples and honey. You may request a Rosh HaShanah Goody Bag to be picked up at Hillel on Friday, September 18 between 1-5 pm.
Join us again on Zoom on Saturday, September 19 at 5:30 pm for reflections on the day and candle lighting, Kiddush and HaMotzi for Night 2 of Rosh HaShanah.
Round Challah Bake
Learn how to make and braid round challah for Rosh Hashanah!
You will need:
3 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar + 1 tbs sugar (for the yeast)
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tbs dry active yeast
1 1/4 cups warm water
1/2 cup oil
Fill out this form by Sept 13 if you would like dry ingredients (flour, sugar, & salt) provided by Hillel!
